Bangkok!
We arrived in Bangkok 2 days ago. What a fascinating city!
Our flight landed just before sunset and we had a wonderful global view on this huge mega pole.
Contrary to what I have heard, I do not find it that polluted. Surely the traffic and the number of moped is simply incredible but the temperature is cooler than on the island and less humid with a breeze making it really nice.
Yesterday for our first day we went to visit a museum on Northern Thailand traditional habitat culture and tradition. The girls were very interested in the 3d film showing how to build a house, which they must have watched over 4 times.
Then we went to the highest building of Bangkok to have a from the sky view. To reach that point we took a tuk-tuk and the sky train (a train above the road level) and to make it more fun we choose the rush hour to travel…hmmmmm
Everyone in the tuk-tuk!

Doing the pose ...
This city is full of little stalls on the pavement selling all sorts of food prepared on the spot, on demand really cheap and surprisingly good.
Anyway so far so good, except if anyone could explain the girls that actually 6 o’clock is really too early to rise, especially when we go in bed at 10, that would be very helpful! Oh and also I have to confess, I think of you who had chosen teaching as a job everyday. How do you cope with 20 or more kids asking 10000 questions per hour everyday??? I am so admirative and so fed up just having one of those!
Oh and by the way do not think we are only 2 adults to look after our children. We are 2 parents and around 1 million Thai or other lovely asian people who all want to help. That is just so amazing! Always someone to hold Lorelie while we are eating, always lots of free seats in crowded transport, always lots of adults to make the girls laugh ! It is just so much easier than in Europe!
And I know a secret recipe to make million: charge any picture taken by stranger of your children!!
