Melbourne

We have just left Melbourne after 4 days in that amazing city! We both found it perfect, just the right size with lots of cultural activities and things to do. It is a huge mix of cultures and you can find cafes and eateries everywhere, the food is excellent and very cheap as well. We have eaten so much good food that it was hard to make the decision to actually leave(Brunswick St. is definitely the best road in the world to go at anytime of the day or night to have yummy food for a fiver)! It has a really buzz and people seems to spend lots of time in the tram which takes you easily and without fuss from any point of the city to as far as the beach! Its architecture has got lot of charme and treasures hidden under little streets. Its cycling path network is very well developed which had allowed us to discover the city at a lovely pace. Anyway we have had a great time and have even met up for breakfast with our next door neighbors from Bristol who have moved here 18 months ago. How weird to meet up with them on the other side of the world! Obviously being in a bursting city has been more tiring than our usual laid back- slow rhythm and we are ready to go back to the wild! We are now starting our last part of our trip in Australia along the coast through the very well known great ocean road and finishing in Adelaide.

Ici, 5°C ce matin - les feuilles sont presque toutes tombées des arbres et les vacances de Toussaint se profilent à l'horizon (encore une petite semaine).
