Brisbane
We are now since nearly a week in Brisbane and we absolutely love it! Georges was so right, it is a nice size city, with very friendly laid back people. No hurry here, no rush, just a great feeling of a very cosmopolitan city (apparently more than 50% of the population is not originally australian!).
There is lots to do and see and we are doing a lot of walking. Everything is so spacious here, it is lovelly after Bankgog! So much quieter!
Apparently my last article did not work, but we have really loved our stay in Thailand. I doubt we will not go back to Asia very soon! (do not tell gaetan though!) We are definitely missing the food, the amazing prices, the gentleness and welcome of the Thai people, so unique!
However Brisbane really feels like home (except their funny accent which makes Elena doubts sometimes of which language are they really speaking...) By the way we have realised that short for Brisbane is Bris like Bristol, is that a sign?
We are staying in a flat at the moment until after tomorrow. After that it is not decided what we will do! We should have very soon a laptop which is going to make easier our updating of the blog especially concerning the pics! We are picking up our campervan on the 14th July, so very very soon! The girls are very excited by this new home!
Everyone is very well including Lorelie who is now 3 months (yes yes thank you a real big grow spur!!) and definitely not fitting in any clothes we brought for her!
PS: you know that I still do understand english and you could leave comments in your Bristolian accent?
